London Landmarks Stamps

My CDT (creative design and technology) teacher at school has his own company and I was talking to him about me making cards and scrapbooking and he told me that he made rubber stamps many years ago. So today he brought me some in free of charge how kind. So I thought Id just share them with you and Ill do a project soon. They are all of famous London landmarks.

The first one is of the houses of parliament.
This is the actual stamps its self. It is so detailed and deeply etched, you can see every single detail.
Here it is stamped. The images are so clear and detailed. They have boarders around the edge but if you didnt want the boarder you could just not ink it.

This is another one it is of the national gallery, this is again very detailed and deeply etched.
Here it is stamped.

The next is of St. Paul's cathedral.

The stamped Version.
This one also has a reverse...

And the final on is of the crystal palace, this one also has a reverse so here they are along with the stamps.

Project comming soon... x

Happy Mothersday !!!

Now I know its mothers day tomorrow in America so I thought I would repost My mothers day card for the benefit of those of you who are American. So here it is.

Its a DL card (8"x4"). In a peachy pinky colour (not sure which brand). Sorry x
I started out by cutting three scalloped circles from my spellbinders dies. I drew some lines on the back and trimmed them down to make three little dresses.
Its a bit hard to explain so hopefully these pictures will help.
Count three scallops across each side of the bottom point.
Then draw a line from that point to the opposite top point.
Then cut along the red lines.
Hopefully you will get something that looks like this.

I put ribbon around the waist and added some glitter to each of the scallops.
I added a piece of ribbon.
And used the cheater method to tie a bow.
I aded a black brad to each end of the ribbon just to keep it in place, and thats that.

Cupcake Easel Card

It was my nan's birthday last week so of course I made her a card and I thought I'd share it with you.
It is a side easel card, my first. I t wasn't very hard to make at all. You just take a square card and fold the front in half diagonally decorate it and put your stopper on.  I'm not sure of the exact measurements but its probably a 6"x6" or 8"x8" base.  with a 1/2" boarder.
I decorated mine with a pirimaged cupcake !!!             I pulled the pink out of the frosting and used it for the base colour. The reason I left a gap in the middle of the card stock was so that it would fold easier. I guess you don't have to if you don't want the gap, but thats just how I did it and I like it because there is some white in the cupcake design.

It looked a little plain so I added three pink pearls and a little pink bow, I didn't use the cheater method I actually tied a real bow !!!
For the inside I put a little boarder with some patterned paper and added a stopper witch said...
Hope your special days a treat.
The elements and toppers I used today were all from a hunkydory kit that I purchased from create and craft.

I added a piece of patterned paper at 5"x2".
I added a piece of ribbon.
Used the cheater method to tie a bow.
I put on a little decoupage chick using a papermania kit and my card was complete.

Happy Birthday Emily !!!

It was my friend Emily's birthday on friday so heres her card.
I used my largest (large) petit scalloped circle die by spellbinders to cut out the main card. I then added the next size down and cut some patterned paper.
I stamped happy birthday using a memento ink pad.

I then used the smallest die cut it out a few times folded it in half and snipped one scallop off of each end. Using this technique I created three butterflies.
I glittered each of the scallops and put the butterflies around the card.
