Fashion!

Happy Birthday Emily !!!

It was my friend Emily's birthday on friday so heres her card. 

I used my largest (large) petit scalloped circle die by spellbinders to cut out the main card. I then added the next size down and cut some patterned paper. 

I stamped happy birthday using a memento ink pad. 

I then used the smallest die cut it out a few times folded it in half and snipped one scallop off of each end. Using this technique I created three butterflies. 

I glittered each of the scallops and put the butterflies around the card.

Very Late Mothers Day card

My very very late mothers day card.

I have been so busy recently but I finally got to my computer so ...

Its a DL card (8"x4"). In a peachy pinky colour (not sure which brand).

I started out by cutting three scalloped circles from my spellbinders dies. I drew some lines on the back and trimmed them down to make three little dresses.

 Its a bit hard to explain so hopefully these pictures will help.

Count three scallops across each side of the bottom point.

Then draw a line from that point to the opposite top point.

Then cut along the red lines.
Hopefully you will get something that looks like this.

I put ribbon around the waist and added some glitter to each of the scallops.

 I added a piece of ribbon.

And used the cheater method to tie a bow.

I aded a black brad to each end of the ribbon just to keep it in place, and thats that.

Princess Anya

Here I made a card using the princess Anya stamp by the greeting farm. It was actually a digi stamps at 3 1/2" by 3".  The card it 6 1/2" by 7 1/2" with a yellow matt of 5" x 6".

 I used my pro markers to colour her, including the skin tones (ivory, blush, dusky pink), classic christmas (gold) and brights (yellow, magenta).

 For her skin I used ivory then went over it with blush, i then added dusky pink for the apples of her cheeks. I used magenta for her dress and yellow for her hair and then went over it with ivory and finally I used gold for her crown.    

 For the bow I took a length of ribbon and tied a loose not in it.

 Then I slipped another short piece through the not and pulled it tight and created a perfect bow.

 I wanted to add some prima flowers but I didnt have any in the right colour so I took some white ones and coloured them using the same megenta pro marker that I used to colour the dress with.

Finally I added Anya herself using some dimensionals and stamped happy birthday, as this card was for my friends birthday.

Cuttlebug And Spellbinders

Here I made a couple of projects with my Cuttlebug and the Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Circles nestabilities dies. 

 Here are the Spellbinders. 

 Thats the sandwich you need for other companies dies.

 Here is the cut I just made.

And here are some of the sort of projects you can make to use as toppers and main images on your cards or scrapbook layouts. Matting and layering gives dimension, like I used for the rosette. 

Top Tip: you can use a bone folder to curve your cuts and give even more dimension as well as using pop dots and dimensionals.

Cuttlebug

Yyyay !!! My Cuttlebug arrived and I FINALLY managed to upload my pictures, so here it is !!! x

 Here is the box.

 And my cat Rascle being nosey. 

 It come with the minnie die and 4 minnie embossing folders. 

 The C Plate was included, witch is usually around £16.00 I got it free.

So there it is. I will post some projects hopefully tomorrow.

My Big Problems !!!!!!!!! :(

hey everyone, so sorry I haven't posted for so long but my computer has been under repair :( it was like totally dead !!!! And my neighbour works with computers so he put some anti virus on it for me. and everything cool now but I don't have like any memory so...

So I will be posting soon I just have to figure out how to put my pictures on to my computer because Im using my new-ish mac.
My Cuttlebug did come last thursday so I have made a few projects. But as Im in school from now I most likely will only be posting on the weekends or when there is a holiday.
